The Department of Physics is established as a modern university department which organizes physics teaching at all faculties and departments of the University and conducts internationally recognized scientific research. Several respected scientists from foreign and domestic institutions have joined the Department. In this way, the Department has not only increased in size, but also in the diversity and quality of the research areas covered, from atomic and molecular physics, nuclear physics, particle physics and astrophysics to educational physics. The Department offers and organizes undergraduate and graduate programs.
