The University of Rijeka established the Centre for Electronic Publishing (CEN) with the aim of creating an integrated information system. CEN tries to integrate a library system, financial operations, teaching portfolio, the system for quality assurance and e-learning. The Centre is founded upon the developments related to the University’s strategic goal of establishing a university with a strong and recognizable research profile, centres of excellence and collaborative research, providing institutional care for the development of research careers and doubling the amount of scientific production.
