The Student Council of the University of Rijeka (SZUR) is an independent, non-political student body which participates in the administrative units of the University. It takes care of the implementation and the quality of study programs; protects and promotes the interests of students; supports student organizations; encourages cooperation with other organizations working in the interests of students; participates in the work of the Senate and the Expert Council of the University of Rijeka. There are currently six offices within SZUR which are open for all students of the University for possible collaboration or help:
